Scene

The play is divided into two acts.

Staging

Tony and Billy have made their camp outside a football stadium. They have camping supplies, including a radio, food, wine, etc. In the course of the play, Billy uses items of camping gear (tin-opener, first aid kit) as props to demonstrate different team formations. Tony has also brought with him a large leg of ham.

As Spanish supporters, the men carry Spanish flags. They wave them for the helicopter television crew that hovers above them at the end of the play. The audience do not see the helicopter, but its spotlights illuminate the characters as the play ends.

Tony is much younger than Billy and Andy. He looks ridiculous in his Spanish football shirt.

Billy has brought a drum to the stadium to bang in support of his team. (less)

Music

At times the sound of a sports broadcast emanates from the radio.

At the end of act 1 the popular song Macarena by Los del Río is heard.
