Staging

The Child Jesus appears, and Boniface is shown in Aglaes’s dream to be decapitated; this happens twice, for at the end he actually is beheaded, and Jesus takes his head up to heaven. The severed head has to appear to talk, as it has a few lines. A fantastical burning boat at the end carries the Child Jesus and Boniface to heaven. (less)
