Biography

Born in Bilbao, Borja Ortiz de Gondra is one of the main voices in contemporary Spanish playwriting. He is usually associated with the 'Generación Bradomín' Group, winning the Marqués de Bradomín Prize in 1995 for his play Dedos (vodevil negro), Fingers (Black Vaudeville). He also won the prestigious Calderón de la Barca Prize in 1997 for Mane, Cecel, Paris. (less)
